Hi everyone,

We're bringing a one-year old on a cruise next month.
We've never cruised with a child this age, so I have some questions about what is available in the nursery.

Normally, when she's in a nursery at church, we provide powdered formula and snacks.

In the DCL nursery, I know they don't provide formula, but what about milk? If they don't provide milk, how do we get some to send?
What about snacks (i.e. cheerios)?

From the DCL website:

What to Bring to Flounder's Reef Nursery
Families should bring baby food, formula, milk and bottles; Disney's trained counselors will be more than happy to feed your child. Additionally, parents should include diapers or pull-ups, diaper wipes, extra clothing and a baby blanket or pacifier, if applicable, when dropping off their child.

What to Bring to It's a Small World Nursery
Families should bring baby food, formula, milk and bottles; Disney's trained counselors will be more than happy to feed your child. Additionally, parents should include diapers or pull-ups, diaper wipes, extra clothing and a baby blanket or pacifier, if applicable, when dropping off their child.

As to what to bring extechie covered that.

You can get milk from the buffet and room service (in cartons) or at the drink station.

No cheerios onboard, but there are other cereals/crackers available at the buffet and from room service.

My son will be two months shy of 3 when we sail. Do I need to bring food for him if he eats real food, or will they provide snacks? Same question with dinner- don't they feed the kids in the Club if requested? Will they feed him or should I/can I get him some counter service to go and bring it with us if he will be there at a meal time?

AFAIK (from what I've read, they don't provide food like mac and cheese, pizza etc for the nursery Guests.
As to whether you can bring quick serve or room service food to your child to have the counselors feed it to your son is something I don't know, but it would probably get cold by the time you got it to him?

As I posted below, they do not provide snacks, thats up to the parent/s or guardian to provide them.

We just got off our cruise with our 2 year old. The nursery will give juice and water but if you want them to have milk, you have to bring it with you. They will feed them meals if they eat table food. Otherwise you have to bring it with you. What I did was bring milk in her cup and either dropped another cup off later or brought a carton (from the buffet or room service) with us. HTH:)

They had solid foods for my 21 month old.

He's quite the eater and they listed off what he ate every time we picked him up- lasagna. Pizza, chicken fingers, fruit.. It was definitely not just baby food and he never seemed hungry when we picked him up!

When we were on the Fantasy in may, they told us dinner was at 5. We never had our son in there at 5 so we always made sure he ate before he went in. So, not sure 100% when these said meals are available. We had late dinner so the 5 o'clock thing didn't work for us. HTH

We were on the Magic last week and brought our daughter (23 months) to play while we ate (6-7pm). Each night we would bring her a meal from the MDR (we would let the waiter know at 5:45 and he would bring dinner out in less than 5 minutes. we also told him the night before which nights she was going since we only brought her three times on our 8 night). Each time they told us that they had dinner in the nursery for her and asked if we wanted her to eat what we brought or what they had. To make it easy on the staff I told them she could eat either so my daughter wouldn't be fussy. All three times they had chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, carrots, crackers, and grapes. Most of the time she would eat her meal from the MDR but sometimes she would snack from their food. I don't know what they had for drinks since we would bring hers from the MDR.
