Which USF, IoA, City Walk, and Hotel food eateries offer AP discounts?

Any discounts or perks not listed on the website?

I'd love to see a list, too! I remember reading it's *most* Universal owned/operated restaurants. We've had good luck using at places like Mythos, all the restaurants at RPR, Antojitos (City Walk), but they didn't take it at the Bumblebee Taco Truck and at some of the smaller kiosk-type food stands.

at CW, not all the stores have the AAA emblem in the outside window of their place.

just ask when you are there if they accept AAA for discounts.
it will be 10% discount.

in the park, yes, AAA is allowed for discounts.
last year there were some posters that stated they had to purchase at least $50 of items before AAA was accepted.
I did not encounter that restriction when i was there this past january.
don't know if that was a temporary thing or not with that minimum requirement.

AP preferred and premier allows discounts.
preferred is 10%, premier is more.

i have both cards and use them both.
AP is valid for most places for merch and food.
carts do not take discounts for the most part.

the books at the corner store at IOA near spiderman, do not accept AAA/AP discounts.
i buy graphic novels and they are not discounted at all..........

many places at CW also accept the AP for discounts.
not sure about the theater but mini golf does accept them when i went last october.

island dining room at RPH will not accept the AAA but will accept AP for the discount.

I thought I read somewhere that some places give a discount when you pay with an American Express. Am I having a senior moment or is this true? ;)

you are too young to be a senior.....
and i think you are correct about AE, from past threads i have read.

the packages they have exclusively to members, have perks and some other discounts.

back many years ago, the official cc was one i signed up for.
many perks with that.
then it went to AE which i do not have.

hopefully someone else that has the AE card will post and correct me if i am having a senior moment............

Orum - thanks for the info!! ::yes::

AE is all our family uses, so that's a bonus. :cool1:

Question for anyone that knows. CAA is the AAA equivalent in Canada. They're typically interchangeable --

Have any Canadians used CAA to receive the AAA discount? Wondering if this is allowed/honoured?

Thank you! :thumbsup2
