Food Delivery to Grand Californian

Hello, all!

I've read a few comments about having a local grocery store make a food delivery to the Grand Californian (or DLH or PP), but I'd like more recent feedback, if there is any out there. We'll be at the Grand Californian and would like a delivery delivered on our arrival day.

So, if you have had any experience with this, your insight would be greatly appreciated!

1. Which store chain did you use?

2. Where was the delivery delivered? Room? Bell Services? Other?

3. Have any of you had problems with the online ordering system?

(for example, I tried to order from Albertsons.com last night and it
would not process the DCH address as my delivery address --
any insight?)

4. Any pros or cons you experienced? Any advice for future orderers?

My son is a T1 diabetic, and we used this service to get a case each of diet soda and water delivered - this is all he drinks, for the most part, and it was going to be too expensive to purchase individual drinks each day (when his sugar goes high, he needs to drink a lot).

We used Albertsons.com, and didn't have any trouble arranging a delivery. They deliver to the bell captain - they aren't allowed up to the guest floors. We got a call when the items were delivered, and just went down to pick them up. It was easy, and something we'll definitely do again. HTH!

I am interested in this, but we leave home over a week before our DL stay (visiting San Francisco and Monterey first). Are you able to put in a delivery date a week or so ahead?
