What are your must-have snacks at the World Showcase? My friends and I (high school seniors) are looking to get into the world showcase one day and try some of the food maybe. Any suggestions on food and drink? Remember for the drink that we are high school seniors on a school trip, haha.

The raspberry cheesecake in the Kringla bakery in Norway was probably the best I've ever had. It was very light and creamy but flavorful (I hate heavy cheesecake). The rolled pastries filled with cinnamon paste type substance (can't remember the name, but they're sold in pairs) are good too, provided they're not too dry (also from Kringla). Have fun and an early congrats on graduating!

I love the apple strudel at Somerfest in Germany and the napoleons and elephant ears at the bakery in France!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Almost anything in the French bakery.

We like an occasional sandwich from Germany.

UK - fish n chips
France - chocolate mouse mmmmm!
Morocco - baklava
Canada - beaver tails (if they still have them - I heard they're not there anymore)
Germany - pretzels

Have fun and were loose fitting pants!

Potato pancakes in Germany
Yakitori (teriyaki chicken skewers) and green iced tea in Japan
Kaki Gori in Japan ( snow cones in non typical flavors)
Churros in Mexico
Waffles and open face sandwhiches in Norway
Ham and cheese croissant or just about any dessert in France

These are all at counter service places (not full service retaurants)

ALso even though its not in WS, the Future World side has ice station cool with free samples of coca cola products from other countries-some are pretty good.(though a couple are downright nasty!) I'm assuming its still there, we haven't been to WDW since 04)

This is always a fun afternoon / evening. There were 7 of us traveling together..

Mexico: 1 Combo Plate, 7 forks, and Margaritas (sorry but we're a bit past HS :) Winner: MARGARITA!

Norway: we got 3-4 different kinds of pastry....all of it was something we hadn't had before...everyone got a taste of all of them....
China: 1 Orange Chicken, 1 Lo Mein, spring rolls, and 7 forks....
Germany: We were thirsty :) ordered 3 types of beer and 2 wines.
USA: 2 Funnel Cakes...the boys devoured them.
Japan: 1 Combo Plate, 7 forks...
Moracco: Chicken combo plate, and 7 forks....
France: eclair, napoleon, cheese plate and french bread...yum
Great Britian: 1 fish and chips, a few pints and 7 forks
By the time we hit Canada we were toooooo full and headed back to Future World to burn off some calories. A great time was had by all, and we felt like we got to try a whole bunch of different things, rather than just going to XXX for lunch or dinner.
