Going to a Braves Spring Training game when we visit next month. Heard there is limited food from vendors and 1 restaurant? Can't find any reviews or comments. Anyone been to either? Also, is there beer like at regular baseball games? Thanks.

They used to have a full service restaurant but that went by the wayside several years ago. There is now a pretty ordinary cafeteria-style place to get soup, salad, sandwich, etc. Nothing great by any stretch. You place your order at a counter and then somebody brings the food to you. Our friends dragged--er, I mean, took--us there for lunch last trip. Needless to say we weren't impressed.
I noticed what looked like a small bar in that building, but I didn't see what they had.

Sounds like we should get either a big great breakfast at YC that a.m. or an early decent lunch somewhere before we hit the game. My incredible f-i-l will be joining us from Cincinnati with some of his old pals. They are old time baseball fans and I know they'd want a cool one at the game if they were available. We will just wait until after the game. Hope they at least have peanuts at the game. Thanks so much for the response.

I mean, when I went to ST (like 05 at the latest?) there were concession stands at the stadium....I mean, what's a baseball game w/o a hot dog?!?! I wouldn't worry about finding a definite lunch, I would just go to the game and pick up what you feel like at the time....

Thx guys - guess I was thinking it might be like the ESPN zone with the great wings and nachos. But a good ball park dog and some peanuts and I am good to go! I will post when we return so future guests will have an idea.

back in the day i worked the beer cart for spring training games. basic domestics like bud, bl, miller etc. im thinking draws only.

Champion Stadium has concession stands just like any Ballpark.:) During Spring Training outside vendors are also brought in and sell their products from temporary food stands set up right outside the Stadium.:)
