We will be at Magic Kingdom on June 27 and would love to hear recommendations for sit-down or other places to eat (lunch and dinner). We are 2 adults but don't mind the character dinings.
Thanks!

I like the Liberty Tree Tavern. I believe they serve lunch and dinner, with only the dinners being character meals.

They serve a yummy Thanksgiving-style meal that's all-you-can-eat! Their menu can be found at www.allearsnet.com

We also really like Tony's Town Square, but alot of people post negative reviews about Tony's. While we've had some great meals there, I've read where many were very disappointed. You may want to have lunch there because it's less expensive & then you can judge for yourself!

if you don't mind the characters, we had lunch at Crystal Palace and loved it. the food was really good, as was the atmosphere when we were there. it is a beautiful building. if you schedule a late lunch, it shouldn't be to crowded either.

We love eating in Cinderella's Castle (great view & atmosphere), but prefer the food during the dinner, rather than the character breakfast.

Also, we love the Liberty Tree character dinner & the Crystal Palace character lunch.

Enjoy!

I put off going to Liberty Tree for years. When I finally went last Dec I loved it. I will make it a MUST do for my next vacation.

My favorite however, is Pinochio Village Haus right next to 'Its A Small World'. It is a fast food place(burgers, salads and stuff), buts got great atomsphere and you can sit and watch the boats go by on Small World. It also has a great 'fixins' bar, which is very important. They have sliced onions, sliced mushrooms and a good variety of other things. That is the first place I go after I check into my resort!!

My vote is for the Plaza Restaurant at the right end of Main Street USA. We just dined there for dinner last week. It was a perfect little get away for a meal! Very cool inside after a hot time of walking the park! Their menu consists of sandwiches, salads, and desserts. They portions are big and the prices are reasonable for WDW. I can't beleive we didn't try this little gem earlier and will most certainly go back!

We love Crystal Palace--we have tried every meal there but breakfast is our favorite. The Plaza Restaurant is also good.

At MK we always love the Crystal Palace for a sit down meal and Columbi Harbor House for Counter Service.

We would recommend LTT for lunch and CRT in the castle for dinner. No characters at these meals, but the food is yummy! princess: pirate: :earboy2:

::MickeyMo We love CRT, Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree, Tony's...pretty much any table service does it for us. Luckily, we've never had a bad dining experience anywhere on property (knock on wood). We like Columbia Harbor House for counter service. Cosmic's is always so crowded and the new Noodle Station is just okay. ::MinnieMo

I really enjoyed LTT for lunch on my last visit. Relaxed atmosphere - good service. A few years back I had dinner in the castle (I don't think they served the lunch back then). The dinner was very good, I assume the lunch would be also.

I highly recommend Crystal Palace for the food. This was probably the best food we had in any of the WDW parks during our stay, plus you get the bonus of the character interaction.

My favorite lunch when visiting MK is actually to leave the MK and take the monorail to one of the MK resorts. We've had incredible lunches at California Grill and the Grand Floridian Cafe, but be warned that these restaurants may not be open for lunch all the time.

For lunch I like the Kona Cafe' at the Polynisian Resort, an upscale restaurant just a few minutes by the monorail, don't forget to have your hand stamped to return to Magic Kingdom, the service is quick and if you let them know you could be out as fast as you need to.
if you like fish then Columbia Harbour House is an indoor cool place with fast food style menu and vegetarian too.
you can find mexican fast food items at El Pirata Y El Perico, a nack stand across from Pirates of the Caribbean.
check out the menus of all Disney restaurants at allears.net.

Which :earsgirl: MK restaurants do you suggest for picky teenager and chicken tender loving preschooler? Interested in counter service and table service ideas.

We had lunch at Tony's last week and enjoyed it very much. Great Panini sandwiches/salad and a reasonable price. Friendly service also.

Columbia Harbour House is a fav of ours, the ham sandwich with broccoli slaw is soooo good. If the downstairs dining room seems crowded there is lots of nice dining area upstairs and a little quieter since no strollers can get up there.

Liberty Tree Tavern is very nice for a nice relaxing lunch and the food is very good.
