Food and Wine on Friday?

We plan on hitting the F/W this Friday. Will it be as crowded as Sat/ Sun or will it be ok? Anyone been on a Friday? Thanks

We were there on Friday the 13th, and during the day it was very manageable crowds. As the evening went on, there were more folks in just for the evening. Saturday was really packed though.

I'd suggest starting that the more popular places for the lunchtime snacks, then try the more unique places (like Turkey and India) in the evening. That way you aren't standing in line with the 5000 people who want cheddar cheese soup at 6:30 Friday evening!

We were there this past Friday, the 27th. There were no crowds during the day to complain of. Test Track did not have a line out the door even at 11:00 AM! The World Showcase area was not crowded and the lines at even the most popular kiosks were pretty short. The weather for us was beautiful so that helped make the day so nice.

Returning that evening was a different story - we could hardly move it was so crowded. We finally ended up leaving after an hour because there were so many people and the lines to the kiosks were so long.

So, my advice is to plan for a full day where you leave early evening. Have fun!!

P.S. We had our dog at Epcot's kennel and when we went Saturday morning to walk him, the line to pay for parking was HUGE!! That evening, the lots were almost completely full.

Food and Wine fest this year has had some crazy crowds. Yes, the worse are definately on Sat / Sun. But we noticed that after 4pm the crowds in world showcase began to swell no matter what day it was. Friday nite was especially bad. If at all possible, I would recommend go early, and in mid week. Or expect unbelievable crowds.

friday evenings at EPCOT are EMH. I imagine that plus the F&W make for a crowded evening.
