My DW & I are headed to WDW for a week beginning this Sunday. We enjoy Epcot and went to the F & W Fest 2 yrs ago. We know some of the "Don't miss" things like Cheddar Cheese soup from Canada. We have fun exploring new things. Looking for some tips/suggestions - esp from someone who has been to this year's Fest. Thanks. :) :) :) Can't wait!!!!

Last year the had a New Zealand counter that had a lamb chop with a mango salsa that was outstanding. That was probably the biggest hit in our family. Have a blast!

We were there last year and loved it! Some tips:

Don't be afraid to try things that are unusual to you - they are only small portions and you may try something that you love!

Small bills (particularly singles) are very helpful to keep on hand. That way you don't have to bother with taking the time for the room charge to process, or wait for your change.

When it comes to wine - pace yourself! About halfway through, DH and I had to stop for a coffee break. ;)

Take a second sweep around the booths. There were times that the lines at particular boothes were long, so we skipped them and came back later.

Enjoy!

We won't be there for the F & W Festival this year, but next year I will be back!!!!!!

Mango salsa - yum! I've had that before and its very good!

Thanks Sam for asking this, we're headed to the festival in 11 days!

Krissalee - thanks for your suggestions. I'll have to remember them!

Can't wait!!

We will also be there during the food and wine festival. This is something I am really looking forward to, BUT I would prefer to sit down and snack. Are there places for you to sit along the way?

Tables, benches, grass?

(We have never been to WDW)

Muskokagirl,

Yes there are benches every 20 feet or so around the World Showcase. Also, there seems that they add many additional table and chair sets near many of the kiosks for the festival. We try to keep or eyes open for an empty bench or table and snag one, get some food then move on as soon as we are finished so others can sit and eat also! It is a great time to visit, hope you have a great trip.

Thanks for the info. My weary bones feel much better already. lol.

Greg K. - WOW - I am so pleased you posted the menus. I have already started to plan my meals !! I do't know what my kids will eat besides the pizza, but I am sure that I will find them something ! Fussy Fussy little darlings.

Can't wait !

Thanks Greg.
In 3 days I'll be munching my way around EPCOT!
Lamb chops, yum yum.

The menu looks fantastic! There seems to be even more selections than there were last year! Next year...

Such torture! I'm going in a few weeks and I can't wait. I read the menu (thank for that link) and now, I want to try EVERYTHING!

I'm with you guys. We're leaving a week from Friday for 10 days ... and I can't wait to sink my teeth into some of that stuff!
