food and wine festival?

can someone explain the wine and food festival to me...i've never been.

How much is it per item, are they priced differently? Any good recommendations that shouldnt be missed? What about dining or snack credits?

I love allearsnet for the 2005 food booths and prices info. It should pretty similar to this years although there may be new booths.

Disclaimer: I'm no expert... last year was my first ever trip to WDW.

There were a bunch of "events" that you can sign up (and pay) for. But there were also booths set up all along the World Showcase with food and wines from many countries. Almost all of the food samples were on the snack plan - which was fabulous!!! There weren't many choices for snacks last year, so this was a huge plus. I tried a few samples and they were fantastic. I didn't try any wines, but I probably will this year.

I know nothing of the big events, just the little booths... I'm sure you'll get tons of responses soon enough though!
