Looks like the dates for the Food and Wine Festival this year are are October 18 - November 16th.

I too will be there for F&W. I think there will be many DVC/DISers there during this time.

We will be coming in on 10/18 for a few days before embarking on our first cruise. Do you find the parks to be uncomfortably busy during F&W Festival? Epcot is our favorite park to dine in and we will be staying at BCV...any tips for us? Thanks!

I do think that first weekend might be a bit crowded but WS is pretty big so it doesn't seem that bad.F&W is popular with locals too which makes weekend attendence a bit higher. .A few bottlenecks are the areas in front of Mexico and France.You might want to try mid- afternoon to stroll around and do your tasting.

(I posted this on another thread but haven't yet gotten an answer.) Do crowds on opening day tend to crowd the whole park, or just the WS??

Our itinerary works best if we are at EPCOT on Oct 18th (opening day & a Saturday) but if heavy crowds should be anticipated, I'll work out an alternative.

The Disney Golf Classic is also that week I beleive 10/23-10/26, maybe that will keep some people out of the parks.
Arriving on the 18th also for 1 week at BCV. Can't wait to try the F&W, was just there in May for the EPCOT flower show which was spectacular.
