Food and Wine 2016!

Woke up early this morning and checked availability for a January birthday trip in 2017.

No problem with that and decided to check on some food and wine dates. Last year F&W went through Nov 16, so I threw in Nov 6-12 in a BW standard studio for 64 points and it was available! Booked it in a flash!

Of course I could have done this in early December, but there is nothing like procrastination.

I actually didn't plan on a trip this coming fall, but in the past I've booked the trip and cancelled later if not desiring to go. This time I was passive and let the dates slip on by. I prefer November to the hotter months anyway and there it was waiting for me. Strangely garden view and boardwalk view had only partial days.

I think you caught a cancellation - good for you. My guess is that those standard view nights weren't available at 11 months and so the Pool/Garden (or possibly the Boardwalk view) nights were booked instead.

We (OK, I ) decided after the 7 month window opened that we should go for F&G. Was lucky enough to get all nights at the BWV, but am still hoping for a waitlist to work so that we don't have to move in the middle. Send me some of your spare pixie dust, please!

We are skipping F&W this year. Usually, we book BW standard, so I was not competing this year!
