Can we bring our own bottles to fill with water from drinking fountains into Sea World? What about food? We like to try to pack a picnic lunch so we are not spending so much. I think I read that we cannot bring a picnic lunch into the park. Is there a place outside that we could eat at? We are trying to decide if we should add a few days to our trip next October to be able to go to Sea World. Thanks!

Bottles would be ok. Picnic lunch no. Or I should say depends on who checks the bags. Some have said they have some said it was taken away. Only place outside would be your vehicle if you drive.

Sorry. I have never been to the pet center so I never would have seen it.

Glad you could offer some advice.

Depending on where you park-you walk by the Pet Center to get to the entrance. The picnic area is just to the right of the Pet Center.

Thank you both! We might pack a lunch, or we might do lunch in the parks and eat in for dinner. Hmmm...more planning to do! :)

They will give you free water. We always bring a bottle or a cup of our own. They always give im us free ice water. We also bring our Sw mug for 99 cent refills (10% off w pass).

They do not let you bring in your own food. Even with a special diet we were told that we could not bring in our own food without a doctor's note.

They were VERY strict.

So if you are a diabetic, remember to bring your doctor's note.

If you were told this, you were mis informed. We bring in our own food all the time. 2-3 times in just the last couple of weeks. There is no requirement for a Dr. note.

from Sea World Website:
"Guests with special diets, baby formula or baby food may bring their items into the park."

If I'm understanding correctly, the picnic area is outside the entrance. So (technically?) we could leave our lunch in the car, have a picnic there at lunch and go back into the park after?
