Can we bring our breakfast on the buses? It will be something simple like a pop tart and a drink.

Thanks!

I believe that food and drink are NOT allowed on WDW transportation. I'd just eat it either in your room or while walking to the busses.

They usually announce that you shouldn't eat or drink on the buses. I'm guilty of bringing along a bottle of Diet Coke, but not food.

I'm not sure about food, but we were told we could have drinks as long as the cup or bottle had a lid.

WDW and most bus companies would prefer that you not bring food or drink onboard. Spills cause delays, as the driver must clean up to prevent slip and fall hazards, food residue attracts our favorite friend, the German Roach. It is best to consume before boarding or wait til you arrive at your destination.

Eating and Drinking is not allowed on Disney transportation.

Most drivers will enforce this rule fairly well... and for good reason. People will often leave thier trash behind, and little kids will often spill thier popcorn or cheerios, or whatever they have. The food will then not only be messy, but attract lots of bugs, which is never a good thing.

Sorry to disagree Chip 'n Dale, but after 35 trips to WDW and countless bus rides, we have NEVER been denied access on Disney transportation with our coffee (with plastic lid in place) or our water bottles. Sounds like more inconsistencies in policy enforcement. And, if this is the policy I find it interesting that they have beverage vending machines at the AK bus loading area? :confused3

Enforcement probably depends on the driver. I've seen guests denied boarding with open soda containers/cups, ice cream bars and sandwich type things. However, I have not been denied myself when carrying coffee with a lid or a water bottle. Have not seen anyone denied for those things. Doubt they cause much trouble/mess.

I've also heard drivers ask guests not to eat and drink while on the bus. I am very grateful as I do not like to sit in sticky seats!

Best wishes -

The vending machines are as you walk into Animal Kingdom, so that one might get a beverage as they head into the park.

Me personally, as long as the beverage has a lid on it, I'm not concerned. However, it's the open coffee cups, the toddlers with popcorn or cheerios, or the lil kids with messy ice cream bars that I will stop.

One big thing that IS enforced is no alcohol on the bus.

YUCK! Ice Cream bars... Can you imagine the mess?

Popcorn is the biggest cause of a mess on the bus. It's also a favorite of bugs. Down here in Florida, no matter how much you spray, popcorn crumbs on a bus, and spilled soda, and melted mickey bars will bring lots of unwanted critters :(

We planned to finish our morning bottles of juice while waiting for the bus, but.. it showed up right away! I didn't know we couldn't take it with us and hopped on board, no problems.
