We just found out that my DD is allergic to milk and is lactose intolerant. What do I do so that she can eat while there...other than avoiding the obvious such as milk and ice cream. There are so many things that have milk, caesin, whey, etc. Anyone know who I call for a list of potential ingredients??

Disney is one of the best places to travel with Food Allergies. They are very understanding and helpful.
When you make an ADR mention the allergy to the CM. Again at checkin mention the allergy. The chef will come out and talk with you about the allergy and help you to know what is safe for you to have. They even will walk buffet lines and point out what you can have.
We took our Grandson who has a peanut allergy and they were wonderful. At CRT the chef even made him special pancakes which were not even on the menu. Some of the pastries in the pastry basket were purchased and made elsewhere so they could not guarantee there was no cross contamination, so he got a special plate of "safe" pastries.
They were great at every restaurant that we ate at.
I am sure others can also share their experience with you too.
Have a Great Trip

Head on over to the DisAbilities board FAQ page http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=595713
Specifically post 3: Helpful links, has info about travelling and eating at WDW w/ allergies, as well as the email address for a person in Dining that can help you determine what is & is not safe for your DD to eat.
Bunch of parents on the DisAbilities board that have experience too. It is very do-able. :)

Is your DD both allergic and lactose intolerant or just lactose intolerant? Things have gotten a lot easier for those lactose intolerant than they were ten years ago.

To me, Lactaid only delays the inevitable.

I've been told for years I have milk allergy but now I'm not so sure.... I have a tolerance limit before it tears my stomach up. It used to break out my skin but not so much now as before.
