Hi...going to WDW in October. Will be staying in Windsor Hills. My 9 yo son has food allergies...where are the best places to eat? We will do the majority of cooking at our house and probably pack lots of food from there too. Would like to be able to eat out a few times though! We went to WDW seven years ago and he survived on hot dogs, chips and hamburgers...gross I know. I would like a few healthier options! (He is allergic to dairy, eggs, and nuts).

Hi Kristi,
You'll be fine. Make sure you contact Special Diets beforehand and note everything on the reservations you'll be eating at. I only have a few moments to reply but repost this in the Disabilities thread and you'll receive plenty of replies. I also do very detailed reviews of places to eat that include dairy and egg-free options if you want to check out my blog.

Sorry I have to run!

You will have no trouble in Disney. Our dd was allergic to peanuts and shellfish when we went last year. At most restaurants, the chef came out and reviewed what was safe for her to eat. They even made her special flatbreads at Mama Melrose. We also ate at Akershus, Chef Mickey, California Grill, Teppan Edo, Chefs de France with no problems. We don't eat out much at home, so it was such a pleasure to do so in Disney with no worries. Note the allergies on your ADRs.
