First, I'll start off with our allergies...
gluten, soy, chocolate, dairy, eggs
We started our stay in Pop Century. I read on the list that the Disney Allergy specialists gave me that they had things I could eat in the food court. When I said I had allergies, they got me Chef Kristin. She was GREAT! and so accommodating! so, I just wanted to share...
She made me rice pasta with sauce and garlic "bread" one night. She used a EnerG hotdog bun to make it for me. How creative! She also informed me that the french fries they serve had changed right around Thanksgiving and I could no longer have them. I believe they now have soy. Just double check before you order them because none of the other restaurants realized that they had changed. (One had told me that they hadn't changed and I had to find out the hard way.) She gave me little potato bite things instead. They were very good.
Anyway, when she brought me out food, I asked her about birthday cakes. She checked and they had 1 frozen one that I could eat and it was great! How awesome?!?! I was so excited to 1. be able to eat out! and 2. have a birthday cake!!
When I went to Kristin in the days after, she remembered me and had my allergies written down on her notepad. She was great!
