I posted this on the DISabilities board and never got any responses so trying again. Has anyone with food allergies been to DL? Do they have the ingredients lists at the CS places like they do at WDW? Are the Chefs helpful at TS places? I am hopeful that things will be as easy as they are at WDW but if there is nothing in place I need to be sure to bring food I can eat.

Thanks so much!!

Yes...we have food allergies or well immune disorders that call for the protien Gluten to be removed from our diet. Most are not aware that gluten is in almost everything it seems like bread, cookies, cakes, and so much more!

I can tell you in response to your questions about Disneyland and food allergies that yes they do have a list for people with special dietary needs and you can get them at City Hall in DL or at Guest Services in DCA.

Since 2 members in our family were diagnosed with Celiac we have not been able to do very much eating out, however that all changes when we visit DL and DCA. They are remarkable when it comes to special dietary and allergy needs!!! We soooooo love going there to eat because they have options and at many places the chefs will even come to your table or come out to talk with you and go over with you what your needs and or allergies are so they can prepare something special for you!
We have found the food to be excellent and for the variety to be plenty!
We are sooooooooooo impressed with DL and the fact that they have taken so much time to consider everyone when it comes to dining and food options, not to mention the knowledge they have as well regarding different allergies and sensativities.
If you should need the lists we also have current lists from both parks and I would be more than happy to either mail them out to you or I can even fax them if you have a fax available.
Enjoy DL and DCA and enjoy the dining experience that you will have as well:goodvibes
Hope this helps you some.
Sorry for any miss spellings or typos. I am tired and don't want to proof read because I want to go night, night, where I can only hope to dream about Disney:love: and NOT MEDICAL CODING AND BILLING!!!:scared1:

luckily for me, i am only slightly lactose intolerant. i have no idea how you guys do the gluten free but much respect to you for your creativity.

my only real experience was at napa rose where we sat at the chef's table and informed him of what i could and couldn't eat. they were extremely accomodating and nice about it. no attitude like i was destroying their creations etc...

i'm sure with notice, they can be accommodating to food allergies.
