Has anyone used the Foldie bags? They are advertised on sale and wondering how they rate in the Dis.

This is literally so crazy-I was going to post about these same bags today! Asking the same question! They’ve been all over my Facebook feed lately and I’d like to know more about them too😀

Never heard of them, but the pictures on their website seem like they are made from some sort of flimsy material. Not sure how long they would last or stand up to wear/tear of travel. Seems a lot of these types of products post a lot on social media to create some sort of 'buzz' or interest.

My wife bought a couple before our last trip and we brought one along. They're ok - a little awkward unfolding and folding back up, but a decent travel bag overall.

I like them - very happy to use when carrying on luggage- even when totally full it fits under the seat in front of you - a bit awkward to carry but perfect on rolling luggage with the trolley strap

They are fine, you get what you pay for. They lure you in by saying it's a free bag when you buy one. But one costs about $80 plus shipping, so it works out to $40 each. You can definitely find better quality folding bags for the same price elsewhere. Once you unfold one, it's hard to fold back up to be as compact as it first was. The color choices are nice. I'd buy an LL Bean canvas bag with a zipper for less than a Foldie and have it for life.

IMG_6377.jpeg Am currently in Thailand after being in Egypt. Have the smaller bag and it’s been great. Today poolside it has my kindle, phone, wallet, sunscreen, miscellaneous small items, reading glasses and sunglasses.

I had to have one and I am a self acclaimed luggage hoarder. Got it. It's nice, have not had a trip where it would be useful so it sits in my closet. I thought it might be useful to take with me in case I needed another bag for the return trip but it took up too much space in my suitcase for that (I travel carry on only). As a bag on its own I have better carry on and personal item sized ones that I like.

I had not heard of these until this post. The bag I can normally carry on for domestic is too large for international flights, so I have been researching bags. I just purchased some Biaggi bags. I got the carry cube tote and the zipsack and ultimate compression cubes.
