FoF parade dragon - no flame!

We saw the FoF parade in early April, and the dragon had no flame on Main Street.

Someone guessed that it was because of the Main Street crowds being close. Another guess (more likely) was that it just wasn't working for some reason.

Anyone seen the flame work on Main Street?

Either way, an amazing parade!

OP, my friend saw the parade twice on her recent trip. First parade, no flame. Second parade......... flame.

Maybe it has to do with wind conditions? Maybe you just caught it between bursts of flame?

We didn't see it on Main Street but rather in Liberty Square just last week and saw flames twice in the time it was visible to us. I think wind conditions are the most likely reason for them to not do it.

We've seen it multiple times, Malificient has breathed fire about 50% of the time. She does do it on Main Street (all along the parade route) as part of the choreography (the music swells before she does it.)

I've heard it's about wind (same for the swinging girls on the Dumbo/Pinnochio float). But it may also be a malfunction issue as well.

We've also seen it where the final float (Mickey and Minnie in the hot air balloon) was missing. Mickey and Minnie rode on the previous float.

Was working on Friday in Liberty Square...

We saw the dragon get "stuck" going around the circle at the beginning of main street last week. Driver got too close to the curb and couldn't get away from it. The dragon moves a "slinking" motion back and forth so everytime he would back up it would be pointing back towards the curb when he went to go forward. Literally took about 15 mintues to get unstuck. It was funny watching Pinnochios reaction to the whole thing sitting directly behind the dragon.

Oh and fire was turned on multiple times.
