What focal lengths can you shoot with the most different lenses? I'm thinking about ordering another 24mm lens and it occurred to me that it would be my sixth lens that shoots at 24mm (Sigma 12-24, Canon 17-40, Canon 24-105, Canon 24-70, Canon 24 TS-E, and maybe another 24mm prime). I can also shoot 25-40mm, 50mm, 70mm, and 85mm with 3 different lenses.

Where is your max overlap?

Sigma 18-50mm, Olympus 50-200mm and an Olympus 50mm prime.

I'm also looking at the Olympus 35-100mm but that may have to wait for a bit.

Tough call -

I've got 10-24, 18-250, 30, 50, 90, 300, and 200-500 in one mount,
and 18-55, 28, 28, 28, 28/35, 40, 50, 50, 50, 70-210, 135, and 200.

So 28mm is tied for the most covered - 3 dedicated 28mm primes, one dual focus 28/35mm, and 2 zooms that cross through that range - for a total of 6. Also, 50mm has 4 dedicated primes, and 2 zooms that cross through that range - for a total of 6.

Like you, I have a lot of 3s.

I've got:

18-55(x2), 28-70, 30, 50-200, 50, 70-200, 70-210, and 100-300.

That looks like the max is 5 to cover 50mm and 4 to cover 200.

I'm lens poor when it comes to my DSLR. I borrow from friends or rent a lot.

8mm fish, 18-55, 28-105, 50mm, 70-210, 75-300, 85 (on it's way)

I have more FD lenses for the old A-1, but a lot of that was my dad's and isn't really reflective of my style.
