Flying Out of Syracuse & Thousand Islands Bridge

Just a quick note to remind those from Eastern/Central Ontario & Quebec who may be driving across the Thousand Islands Bridge & Border through Watertown to the Syracuse Airport . . . don't cross on November 1st unless you absolutely have to. I did this by mistake last fall & was stuck in standstill traffic from the 401 off-ramp for at least 1 1/2 hrs until the border check. Fortunately, I had an evening flight & lots of time for check-in. Apparently, November 1st is the most popular commuting day for Snowbirds (travel insurance issues?) and the border wait is nuts. From now on, I will leave either before or after the magic day of November 1st. Best wishes!
