How important is it to do online check-in when flying Midwest? Here's our situation. We're flying out of KC, about a 3-4 hour drive from our home. We're spending the night in KC before our flight and would really like to leave home in time to be in KC for lunch. Our 24 hour window for online check in will open after we leave home.
We are at an airport hotel that evening that may have the capability to print our boarding passes. But we'll also be at the airport at least 2 hours before our flight the next morning.
How imperative is it for us to do online check-in with Midwest? Do I need to worry about the possibility of being bumped, or can we just check in the morning of our flight? We'll have a laptop and could check in at the airport hotel that afternoon, but we'd still have to get boarding passes printed.
Any advice would be appreciated since I'm beginning to obsess on this.
