Flying in, DME, getting to site?

Hello! We are flying into the area this time, then using DME. Can you tell me how we get to our site? We're on a tent site.

I would expect having the airline bag pick-up service would not be an option with this scenario, as I don't know where they'd keep things since there's no actual room to deliver the items.

I'm looking forward to the Fort and all the friendly campers! Thanks for any advice you wish to offer!

Once you check in they will drive you by van to your site. If you are talking about checking all your bags and having them delivered to the Fort that should be no problem. Last time for us at the Fort we rented an RV, we arrived before noon but our bags didn't arrive until after nine that evening. If I was you I would pickup your own bags and transfer them to the bus for the ride to the Fort that way you have all your gear when you arrive.

We just rented an RV from Greenberg the beginging of the month. We flew in and used DME bag delivery. We arrived at 9:30am and RV wasn't expected to be delivered until 1:00. When we checked in we asked about getting our luggage delivered. They said to call and they will deliver the luggage to your site. (Expect to wait the three hours after you land to call for delivery) We waited until we had our RV set up to call so we had somewhere to put the luggage once we got it. They can store your luggage to if you decide to grab it yourself from the airport and bring it with you to the fort.

We rented a golf cart so they didn't need to drive us to our site. We did schedule for them to pick us up at 4:00am on our departure day so we could make our magical express bus back to the airport. It was very convenient to have all of us and our bags taken upfront all at once.
