Flying in at 12:50, which park this day?

My family and I will be arriving at MCO at 12:50. We are not sure which park to visit on this day. We will be staying at BC. We want to go to MK, Epcot, AK, MGM and Blizzard Beach. We have 4 days to accomplish this feat, including the day we arrive. If I had to choose one to spend the least time at it would be Epcot. I have been here before and I believe that this will interest our teens the least. I would like to do AK in the morning because of the animals being more active. I absolutely love MK and can easily spend a whole day here. Blizzard Beach will probably be the better part of a day. You know kids and water parks! What is everyone elses opinion on which park to spend this first day at? Everyone on this board is sooooooooo helpful, I just want to says thanks in advance!!

It's hard to give you good advice without knowing what time of the year you are visiting - park hours and weather vary according to season.

If you are going in the next couple of months, my advice would be to do EPCOT on your day of arrival. It's open until 9 or 9:30 p.m., and is usually uncrowded. Your teens will want to catch Mission Space and Test Track for sure, and probably enjoy the 3D Honey I shrunk the Audience. Have to believe that everyone, including the teens will enjoy Illuminations. If you are going anytime now through the Holidays, there are lots of Christmas decorations to enjoy and the Candlelight Processional is very moving - not to be missed if you have the opportunity! You might also consider a sit-down dinner at one of the World Showcase Restaurants. The teens might especially enjoy Teppanyaki and Marakesh.

I'd combine AK and Blizzard Beach. Choose a day that will have weather suitable for swimming and go to AK for opening. You could do the major attractions and still be at the water park by Noon or 1 PM. (Hopefully, you will have a car - driving will be most convenient). If you are staying on site, you might be ble to work this for the day AK is scheduled for early entry/Extra Magic Hour. In the evening, you could visit DD or PI or just enjoy your resort.

That leaves 2 full days for the MK and MGM.

We're arriving at MCO at 2. Figure by the time we get to the Dolphin, check in, we should be ready to hit the parks by 4pm the latest. We've decided to go to Epcot for a short while that day. Figure we can walk around, see some of the sights, have a bite to eat, then head to BC/YC for our IllumiNations cruise.

Last time we went, DS couldn't wait to get to Magic Kingdom. We were staying on-site, so we caught the bus to MK about 2:30-3:00pm. We stayed there until 7, when it closed, and then took the monorail to Epcot. We had time to ride a few rides and still get a good seat for Illuminations. We went at a very slow time. We really felt like we got a lot out of the day, even though it was a short one! Of course we went back to MK the next day, but we were there longer than 4 days. Whatever you decide, have a fabulous, magical trip!

My vote is also for going to the park you most want to get to twice (such as MK) and then monorailing over to EPCOT and stay until it closes.
That way, you've seen and done some neat stuff in a matter of a few hours. And EPCOT is wonderful at night when it's not crowded. YOu can eat at EPCOT either in one of the sit-downs OR at one of the services around the lagoon. A wise use of time.

Since you are staying at BC, I would say either Epcot or BC. I, too, love World Showcase. Since you are RIGHT next to it, I hope you are able to enjoy it some without the teenagers, or maybe they will come to appreciate it. I find that World Showcase is a great place to go when you need a break from the theme park atmosphere of the rest of WDW.
