Flying from YYZ to LAX - customs?

Where do you go through customs - at Pearson or when you arrive at LAX? Trying to book a car service at LAX to pick us up and want a good idea of how long after landing will we be ready for pick up.

You go through customs at Pearson. Get there early!

I just flew last week to LAX from Pearson. The line through customs at Pearson was very long and it us about 40 minutes to get through. I will say though, when we returned home it was very quick. At LAX it is a little slow getting through...that airport is so big so it took a while from when we landed for the plane to be taxied in and then the luggage to come.

And be prepared for the quick stop on the run way! At least the last time we flew down, it seems to be a real short one landing, everything shifted that flight!
