Hi-

I have two boys 6 and 22 mths. The children's menu looks great there. Is it child friendly or too upscale for the small ones? How is the service?

It is WDW....they expect kids.;) Seriously, my rule of thumb is - if they have a kids menu, I will take my children. As long as you are willing to take the baby out of the restaurant if he gets fussy (been there, done that;) ) I'm sure you will be fine.:)

I'm not a big FF fan, but that is due to menu changes....I'm sure y'all will have a great time.

Is the menu much different from what is listed here?

Oh no, this is the updated menu. We went many years back when they had some sort of orange flavored wolff fish and there was a succulent scallop appetizer that has since been discontinued. I know their menu does change a bit b/c it is a signature restaurant...but I am picky like that.;)

If you look at the menus on Allears the one posted for FF looks accurate. We were just there March 15. Had a wonderful meal, including our 6 month old DGD. Yes, the restaurant and staff are very kid friendly. Our little angel slept thru dinner. They let us wheel her stroller right in besides our table. Made sure we were seated so we were out of the traffic flow. The menu has changed over the years but we always find something tasty to order :thumbsup2 .

We go to FF almost every trip and it is alway very good. DD has been going with us since our first time there (when she was 3). It is just as kid friendly as most of the other WDW restaruants (with coloring page and all)...We like to sit by the open kitchen most of the time because it keeps dd entertained but sitting at a table would be just as comfy. We've always had very good service as well.

Always plenty of kids at FF. We've found the service to be quite good all the times we'e dined there.

My kids did fine at six and seven. Its one of my favorite restaurants.

I wouldn't take a toddler there, but that is me. My kids weren't predictable enough - my son was antsy as a toddler and my daughter tantrum prone. I think that it isn't pleasant to pay $50 an adult for a meal and spend the meal saying "use your inside voices" or eating cold fish from a stryofoam dish in your room because someone decided they were done and you needed to remove everyone from the restaurant. We stuck to meals that we wouldn't feel horrible if we had to walk out of them when the kids were little.

Note that the bathrooms are convienently placed THROUGH Seashore Sweets - making this a poor choice if you are trying to avoid a candy purchase. And making bathroom needs more frequent for my kids here than in any other restaurant (I visited the potty four times in an hour here).

We were there last week with my 3 boys aged 3-6-9 and we were fine. There were alot of families in there. My dh and I had one of our best meals in there. I had the salmon and my husband had the scallops and they were both awesome!

I loved FF when we went in December, so I don't mean this to sound like a criticism, but it was kind of loud in there. I commented to DH that we could have brought the children and it wouldn't have mattered because no one would have been able to hear them. We are planning on a return visit to FF this November and may take our wild bunch with us as well.
