Would you stick with a reservation at Flying Fish or move to one of the Grand Floridian Restaurants (excluding V&A....did that 2 years ago and while it was the best meal we have EVER had it is not in the budget this year). We will be there Nov 13 -16 and I am wondering if we should take advantage of hopefully the Christmas decorations being up by then? It is unusual that we are at Disney this time of year so I am leaning towards switching. Originally we chose Flying Fish because we have always wanted to try it and because we will be staying at the Dolphin so it is within easy walking distance. We've never been to any of the three restaurants....which do you think is best.? Thanks!!

It's strictly personal preference of course, but I would stick with Flying Fish. It's my favorite restaurant in WDW.

After eating at all 3 on our past trip....

We would choose Narcoossees

All the meals were good, but we liked the atmophere and service there the best!

Stick with flying Fish, I have eaten at all of them, the food is of a similar standard, you'll pay more to eat at the GF.

My family and I have gone to Narcoossee's on all of our WDW trips in the past 13 years...it is one of our favorite restaurants in WDW. It is a great location, great for fireworks viewing complete with the music, excellent seafood.

Never been to Narcoossees, but I have heard good things. Went to Citrico's last week and it was fabulous. Have been to FF many times in past and always enjoyed it. You can't go wrong with any of them, but if you really want to see the GF durting your trip, I would switch to Citrico's.

My order of preference is 1. FF 2. Citricos and last would be Narcoosees.

We do it every year and it never gets old!

Of course the decorations are nice at the GF, but IF the choice is just between the restaurants, I'd stick w/ FF. If you simply MUST see the decorations at the GF, then Citrico's would be my choice.
What I'd do is eat at the FF. Then on your MK day, just hop the monorail over to the GF for a look.

Thanks so much everyone for your input! Maybe we'll head to a Monorail restaurant for lunch that day so we can see the decorations and then have dinner at Flying Fish. So many decisons!:goodvibes

Another vote for the Flying Fish. Went there for the first time on our 07 trip. The snapper wrapped in potato was GREAT and the restuarant itself was beautiful.

Hey Denise - I'll be there same time. Can't help with the choices as I haven't eaten at any of them -yet. I have reservations for Narcoossee's on 11/13 and Flying Fish on the 14th. I'm gonna be eating good this trip! :)

Hey Terri - it sure does sound like you will be eating well! We are looking forward to both our dining choices too - I think we wil likely stick with FF and our other nighth we are eating at The Yachtsman. We've never been to either - we are trying out some restaurants that we would not take the kids to. Yes...we are going to Disney without the kids for three nights! Never done that before....my hubbie has a work conference and I am tagging along. Not feeling too guilty about not taking the kids because we are taking them in January. I am sooo looking forward to this trip...it will be a short one but I can't wait!:woohoo:
