Really want to eat here during our next trip.

Any positive reviews/comments would be greatly appreciated.

The food is incredible but it is very expensive - even with our 20% DDE discount it was $155 for the two of us and we only had one bottle of wine. Food wise it was probably the best meal we had all trip.

It is lovely FLorence :) We spent some time here with friends a couple of trips ago, we had some great food and cocktails :) Brilliant servers too :thumbsup2

Hi,

We had our evening Wedding meal at the Flying Fish and couldn't have been happier. The food was excellent and service was very friendly and efficient. We ended up being the last people in the restaurant for about an hour and they didn't ask us to leave once!!! Even got us more drinks at one point.

We had 9 people in our party and the cost was approx $700 including wine and other drinks.

We plan on going back during our next trip.

Have fun,
Andy

Thanks for all the quick and positive responses. FF is now on our list :thumbsup2

I've only eaten at Flying Fish once, but I remember it being very good indeed. Our server was just about the best we've ever had. He was attentive without being overly so and made the children (who were a lot younger then) feel part of the meal too.

We ate there last year and it was one of the best meals we have ever had! The food was fantastic and so was the server. It was fairly expensive but for me it was worth it!

This is definetly on our list of restaurants to make ADRs for :thumbsup2

Hate to throw a 'negative' in here, but the FF has been our favorite restaurant for years, yet twice this year we were quite unsatisfied with the food. The service was excellent, atmosphere noisy (always has been, but that's ok), expensive (always has been). It was just the food was not up to the quality we used to experience at the FF. Gone is the Lava Cake, and the ravioli was thick and way too 'chewy,' soup was not hot, fish was dry and tasteless, I can't remember the other entrees, but they were not memorable in any way. I was so disappointed! This was in February 2006 andMarch 2006.

We had a simply fabulous meal here Florence :)

I found our server a little unfriendly but the food was to die for :thumbsup2
