I just made all my ADR's and right now I've got us eating at Flying Fish. I'm so tempted to change over to Kouzzina's. What do y'all think?

we had two fabulous meals on our last trip and flying fish was one of them. so i can't help but vote for flying fish.

We love Flying Fish!!! Haven't tried Kouzzina, so I can't compare, but I've been to FF 3 times and it's always been excellent. We like the decor/ambiance in there as well.:goodvibes

I ate at both on our last trip and I would definitely stick with Flying Fish. Kouzzina is good, but not great. Flying Fish is great :)

We weren't impressed at FF. Loved the old Spoodles.

We will be at Kouzzinas in a few weeks and will report back.

We had one of the best, if not THE best, Disney meals at Flying Fish. We can't wait to go back.

For some reason, I think Kouzzina is not on the Dining Plan, in case that factors into your decision (FF is and is 2 credits).

Kouzzina was definitely on the dining plan in September. We chose it over Flying Fish, and it was our second-favorite meal of the trip (after Jiko). We're trying Flying Fish this time. Flying Fish generally gets good reviews while Kouzzina's are more mixed, but like I said, Kouzzina was great for us.

I'd say that if Greek is one of your favorite types of food, do Kouzzina. Otherwise, do Flying Fish.

I haven't been to FF, but I had an awful meal at Kouzzina, and I was wishing the whole time we were there that I had gone with FF instead!

Thanks y'all. DH, who usually just wants to leave all of it to me, decided he really wanted to try Kouzzina's so that's what we ended up going with. HOpefully we'll have a good meal there!

I've never eaten at FF, but we did eat dinner at Kouzzina in October and really liked it. The whole "feel" of the place is great and we really enjoyed the food. The one downside was that we were there for at least 2 hours. I think that's the way it's meant to be though......European style slow meal.

As for the DDP, it is on the DDP. If I remember correctly, FF is 2 credits and Kouzzina is 1. So I guess it depends on if you want to use 2 credits or 1. My suggestion would be if you've eaten at FF before, give Kouzzina a try!:thumbsup2

We just had a fabulous meal at Kouzzina this past weekend. We had a reservation for 5 when they opened and were finished with dessert before 6:15.

Both are nice enough restaurants, though I feel Flying Fish is way overrated, and didnt live up to the hype.

I hope you enjoy Kouzzina, I have only done breakfast there and the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was enjoyable.

We had a wonderful meal at Kouzina in late sept. I know the server told us they had worked out some kinks with the menu. Everything we had was fabulous. We had the fisherman stew, the whole fish and flank steak. On the dinning plan this is another place that they let you have smoothies as your drink and the tropical one was yummy.I definitely think this is a great 1 ts on the dinning plan. We enjoyed it so much that we definitely be back on our sept. 2010 trip.

We all love :love:flying fish even if its just fo appetizers I thought everything was delish but if hungry enough I might eat rocks & dirt:rotfl:

We cancelled our Liberty Tree ADR and made one for Kouzzina while we were down there this week (stayed at BC and wanted to walk home) and we were SO disappointed. They are on the DDP and my porkchop was dry and tasteless. The waiter pushed the calamari and said it was so good so we added that and it was nothing special. My kids all hated the pizza (very flat crust)

I wanted to try it b/c my DH loves the Iron Chef and I thought the food would be better than average.

I seem to be one of the rare ones who doesn't like Flying Fish. It just seemed like a lot of money for an uninteresting menu. Not necessarily bad. Just sort of... bland. Eh... unremarkable. Our whole group left very unsatisfied and somewhat irritated that it cost us two dining credits. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with paying a fortune for good food... it just better be worth it.

Kouzina seems to get mixed reviews. People either love it or hate it. My group loved it (including the self-proclaimed picky eater of the bunch). We've eaten at 99% of the restaurants at Disney and Kouzina is now on the list as a spot that we will return to on EVERY trip.
