We would like to eat at either Flying Fish or bluezoo during our next trip. We all like fish and seafood. We are a party of nine with people ranging in age from three to sixty-six.

How are the two restaurants different? Which would you choose?

Hmm....They are both REALLY good. Having said that, Blue Zoo , IMO is more quiet, and FF is bustling. Personally, FF is a must do for us every trip....Blue zoo, is not. Again, you really can't go wrong as they are both fantastic, but with your age groups, I would say FF :thumbsup2

Personally, I find the food at Blue Zoo and the care they take with each plate to be a few notches above Flying Fish! I've never found Blue zoo to be quieter but I like the vibe of the restaurant!

If your focus is seafood then the Flying Fish has more of it on it's menu while Blue Zoo does offer seafood they mix it up more with other types of meat.

I think you'd be happy with either, heck just toss a coin!

FF would perhaps be better with the little ones, as it is more noisy than the Blue Zoo. But Blue Zoo is the better seafood restaurant.
You can see the menus so that may help you decide..
In any case, both are good restaurants (we're going to both next week, in fact) so you can't really go wrong.

Our 2 current Favorites! Tough to choose. We had to cut our upcoming trip in half & BlueZoo got cut this time. But only because we've been there at least once a year since it opened & I wanted to explore FF more since we've only been there a couple times.

I'd have to agree with UR - FF may be more appropriate for the little ones in your party. BZ does have a kids menu, but you don't usually see too many little folks there.

Thank you everyone! I feel like we really can't go wrong. I'll check out the menus again and maybe that will help me make my decision.

Any more thoughts on the noise level of the two restaurants? Our kids are well-behaved, but they can have their off days. If one restaurant is noisier than the other, that might be the one to go with.

Thank you for sharing this. My kids are typically pretty good, but I know that I won't enjoy the meal as much if I am worrying about how my kids are behaving.

Thanks again!

Flying Fish has an open kitchen so there is noise built in there.

Bluezoo has been as quiet as a library every time I've dined here. It's definitely more of a fine dining environment as opposed to a family dining place. A child having an off day would definitely stand out here.

We love Flying Fish, I mean we LOVE it but Bluezoo is DA BOMB and I would pick that over FF
