My husband and I are going down in October for the wine and dine half marathon. We are staying in the epcot resort area and have never eaten at Flying Fish or Blue Zoo before. Since we will be traveling without our kids this trip, we wanted to try something a little different. Which restaurant would you choose? We will not be on the dining plan. I have read some reviews on both, but since they are both pretty expensive, I wanted to go to the experts for advice! Thanks!!

You can't go wrong with either one. They are both delicious.

Apps and entrees were amazing at both places. I give a slight edge on the desserts to Flying Fish.

Flying Fish is somewhat busy and boisterous. bluezoo was pretty quiet, less crowded, and had far fewer children.

Flying Fish is good but bluezoo is better. I've dined at both many times and bluezoo is consistently a more upscale experience with better food and service.

The scallop appetizer is worth the trip alone. And unlike the PP, the chocolate and peanut butter special dessert last time was as good as any of the desserts I've had at V&A.,

Both are very good. IMO, the difference is in how I would describe them. FF is a great Disney restaurant, Bluezoo is a great restaurant. No qualifier needed. I would not hesitate to eat at either one though.

I agree that both are very good, but I give a slight edge to Bluezoo.

I have only been to Flying Fish which is excellent(potato-crusted Red Snapper!), but I have an ADR for Bluezoo for our trip in Oct. Staying at BWV so being able to walk is HEAVEN. :cloud9:

+1. Been to both many times. bluezoo is the winner.

I like both but Blue Zoo is superior. I went there on my last trip and was so glad I did. I am making this a regular must-do from here on out. BTW - they also have amazing cocktails!

I have to give the edge to Todd English's bluezoo™, as well.

By any chance, was this the dessert you were describing?

It's all warm chocolate cake and yummy goo, but no peanut butter. It's peanut ice cream.
