We are going up to Disney in a couple of weeks and staying at BWV for the first time. We've made dinner reservations at the Flying Fish and are looking for some recent opinions. What did you have, was it good and was it worth the price?

Thanks for the great info to come!

Haven't been there recently, but previous meals have been very good. I'm sure recent diners will be responding.
We're doing FF in May---

Flying Fish is my favourite restaurant. Never had a fish dish that wasn't excellent. The menu changes every day, depending on what's good at market. The servers will advise what they think is best that day.

If you like fish, and have time for a second fish meal, try Bluezoo at the Swan. Also excellent fish. Very modern decor - cooking & presentation more avant garde than FF.

On balance, Flying Fish is a little more to my liking.

My DH and I love it and he doesn't even eat seafood! I do and have never been disappointed. He loves the steaks there as well. Happy eating.

We ate at FF for the first time last month and it was by far our favorite dining experience. I have photos of our meal on the sticky thread for disney food...think it starts on page 147...post #2200. I also wrote a pretty long review of the place...here's a link to that...

We eat at the Flying Fish every time we visit WDW, most recently was the first week of January. We have never had a bad meal there and rate it as one of the top restaurants at Disney World. On our last visit, I had the scallops and risotto, DH had haddock. The menu does change frequently, but there seem to be few items that are always available- crab cakes, scallops, salmon seem to always appear on the menu, although the preparation may change. We have tried and enjoyed all of them. The grilled tuna I had once was the best I have ever had, although it was not on the menu when we were last there. We will be back in a couple of weeks, also staying at the BW, and have already booked an ADR there.

Flying Fish is very good. Every time I have eaten there the fish has been super fresh, nicely presented, and flavorful. I really like the room too--it is relaxing, and not overly loud (though not quiet either!). I am sure you will like your meal if you like fish.

I appreciate the responses. Their menu online looks good enough to eat! I can't wait to try it now. THANK YOU! :goodvibes
