Flying Fish Chef's Table?

A while back, I read about this on the Disney Parks Blog. I haven't seen much here on it.

Has anyone gone? Any reviews/comments?

Also, if you are going in a party of 4, can 2 people participate in it if the other 2 choose not to?

It's at the Low Bar, right? So that is no longer an option for regular restaurant patrons?

I booked it for October.
There was a thread hear and when I went back to it I noticed one of them had already cinokete. I PM'ed her and got a very positive review.
I think the other two would have to be at a seperate table.
Just a note you need to pay in full when you make your ADR. I would be interested in more reviews. I plan to do my first dining review on my trip.

We did the FF CT in May. Just so you know, it's not a separate table. You sit facing the kitchen. Overall, I'd give it a B. The positives--great interaction with the staff, very good food, good wine pairings. The negatives--food and wine portions were too large for a tasting menu (I left feeling extremely uncomfortable), the food didn't vary much from the regular dinner menu, pacing of the meal--long wait between some course and others felt rushed, lots of people walking by on their way to their tables.

We eat at Flying Fish anytime we have a special occassion. I love the Chef's counter however it is difficult to get the best seats at the counter. I usually make my reservation for 5:30 - 6:00 pm and arrive when the facility opens or earlier. Make your request when you arrive, they will not take it when you make your reservation. If you are a party of 4 ask to seat on the end so you can sit two couples facing each other. If not, you will sit in a long line and have little interaction with your family.....could be an okay thing!

The two best entrees are the STEAK.....best on Disney property and the Potatoe Crusted Fish Dish. The Risotto is always spectacular. It is amazing to watch to chefs and the organization in the kitchen. The staff is friendly and very accomodating.

One of the things I love best of living in Celebration is being able to dine at the Disney restaurants on a regular basis. Since I don't give restaurant reviews on a regular basis my only other suggestions would be California Grill and Fulton's Crab House.
These are the restaurants we seem to visit on a regular basis. If you venture off property Celebration has the Celebration Town Tavern, the Wine bar and Antonios Italian...........all very good and very fun.

I'm not sure. When I made our reservation, I was told that they're doing the CT only a few nights a week. So I guess it's probable that the bar is used for regular diners/regular menu on the nights they're not offering the CT.
