Flying Fish Cafe

I have to say that this is our favorite restaurant thus far at Disney (our second favorite is LeCellier). For those that don't know i is located at the Boardwalk Resort. The food is wonderful and we have eaten right at the bar where we were able to talk to the chefs and watch them prepare everything!! My DH even ordered a new menu item that was just put on that night and the head chef came out to ask him about the meal. My kids also loved the dessert for them because they were able to "Paint their own cookie" I would recommend this to anyone!!

I am so glad that you like the FF. I will love to know what you have ordered since I have planned to eat there next July. Not a lot of DIS'ers post reviews of Flying Fish anymore.

IMO FF is the most consistent restaurant on wdw property, outside of V&A's. We always sit at the chef's counter and have a great time/meal. We find all the servers and staff very accommodating and the new chef seems to be making a great impact.

Ok - I know this is going to sound bad - but this was last August that we ate there and since I just found these boards, I can no longer remember the exact names of the dishes!!! Sorry folks!! What I can say however, is that the new item was a Salmon dish and my husband thought it was wonderful!!

It's a shame that I can't remember the names, but the lasting memory that I have of a wonderful meal is worth us going back again.

This time (we are leaving this Sunday!!) we are eating there with 7 of us. I am hoping that they have enough room to fit us at the counter, but instead of guaranteeing that we have "priority seating" reservations for a table too!!

I hope that everyone takes a time to try this restuarant!! The service, the food and everything was just wonderful!! I promise that after we eat there I will post what we had this time and our opinions of this meal!!
