We will be staying at the Swan with our 5 and 11 year old. We all love seafood, and this is close, but it is a bit pricey and I am not sure if it is family friendly. Any thoughts of feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

We just returned and went to Flying Fish one night with DD5. They are kid friendly. We did see other kids there. The kids menu is limited (as is most of the disney restuarants, but that is for another topic), offered fish, mac and cheese and a few other items. The dessert is great for kids. It is a White chocolate puzzle that they get to paint with sugar paints and then a chocolate cupcake. I will try to post a picture of it. Gives you time to enjoy your coffee and dessert while the kids are busy painting their puzzle.

Another suggestion is cape may in the beachclub they have a nightly clam back. Probably more reasonable in price and only requires 1 TS when on the dinning plan, verse the 2 TS credits that flying fish requires.

We took a six and seven year old last year and found it comfortable - its a fairly noisy restaurant - I'd eat early with kids. I wouldn't go with younger kids (at least not mine younger), just because its too expensive to end up taking your food to go and eating it cold when your kids need to be removed - its too nice to spend it saying "use an inside voice" even if they manage to avoid meltdown.

Note that the bathrooms are through Seashore Sweets - necessitating four bathroom trips in a one and a half hour meal which may have involved browsing for candy - and a $20 candy bill later in the trip. My kids would have been fine not knowing a candy store was there.
