Just booked it and noticed that it requires 2 TS meals? Is it worth it or should I look into other options? We have 3 TS and 3 CS meals to figure out. This is harder then I thought!

Suggestions welcome :)

Hi! The FF has become our last night (sigh) @ WDW ADR. So of course we think it is great, and hopefully you will too.:thumbsup2:cool1::cool1::cool1:

I'm eating there tomorrow night. It's one of the best restaurants at WDW, especially among restaurants run by Disney. However, I'm not on the dining plan and I can't hazard a speculation as to whether it's worth 2 credits on the dining plan. 2 credit restaurants are generally not the best dining plan value, if one has purchased the plan with an eye to maximizing the value of their credits.

Flying Fish is an excellent restaurant. One of the dimension of the dining plan is that not only to you prepay for meal, your money is converted to meal tickets. You no longer use US currency. You should determine what one day on the DDP is costing. Then estimate the TS portion from the CS and snack value. Disney promotes a food savings that is questionable how many people actually obtain the marketed savings level. I think the majority of people who dine at FF are not on the dining plan and the 2TS ticket requirement deters many on the plans.

While it's a great place it is by no means a bargain even at Disney.

We eat OOP so I can't say if it's worth the 2TS,FWIW we never get out of there under $100 for 2 even with TIW.We ate several apps and sides each last weekend and could barely eat dessert.Food is rich...and filling.

So glad to hear that the Flying Fish is a good choice for dinner! We will be dining there Easter week and are really looking forward to it. Any suggestions on an entree?

It probably seems funny but I love the Char-Crusted NY Strip. The flavor and sauce is amazing. I know it is a seafood restaurant but this entree is AMAZING!!!

We do not do DDP (don't think it's a value if you eat at signatures and don't want desserts) but we do enjoy FF.

Favorite dishes here, for me, are the ahi appetizer and the cheese platter. The wine flights are fun too.

We were just at WDW, and we agreed on choosing only ONE really "nice" restaurant, as we were paying OOP. It was, as usual, excellent, but I was treated to sticker shock when we got the bill.:scared1: I guess I'm used to the DDP now:rotfl: Even though it's very expensive, you will have a beautiful meal there.

Have a fantastic time!
