Has anyone been by plane recently?
I sound a bit silly but to be honest I havent got a clue what to expect!
does anyone know what weight limit it is for our cases. We will be packing heavy jeans, jumpers and boots!

Your weight limit should be printed on your tickets/booking confirmation. Its likely to be 20kg per person (or sometimes less).

I would suggest wearing your boots to travel in so there is less weight in your case.

Thanks.
Weve ben told we get our plane tickets at the airport. I'm a little worried about this though.
All we have been sent is the tickets for the shuttle bus and confermation of booking.

Will wear boots! good idea!:)

If you go on the Air France site, it will probably tell you the weight allowence, as mentioned it is likely to be 20kg. Other airlines do this.

Also consider getting some space bags - they are bags you can put your clobber in and roll up and squeeze all the air out of em - good for packing bulky coats. Matalan used to do them and I think JML.

I've got some of those at home. The only trouble is when I come to repack. I dont think DLP will let me borrow their hoover LOL
Good idea though,!:thumbsup2

Hi guys. We went 2 weeks ago and I had all those concerns you mentioned too. Even posted questions on this board - seems like not many people fly Air France to DLP these days. :rotfl: When you get to the check in desk they just ask for your Passports, no tickets, printouts or paperwork needed and they sort it all out for you. Your return VEA tickets (if you're using this method of transfer) are given to you by your Disney Hotel on arrival. (That was another worry) Baggage is 20kg per person and only one hand baggage allowed in the cabin, no max weight but must conform to size regulations. I found the return trip a little more confusing. Managed to find the right terminal (JFK is sooooo big) but wasn't so easy to find the check in desk. We found a member of staff who was very helpful; she zapped our passports in a self service machine, pressed a few on-screen buttons - all in French - and out popped our bording cards, simple!!!!! :scared1: Once through security we saw loads of what were obvious Brits looking for the gate, keep your eyes peeled as it is not with all the main gates. Any more worries just PM me. Oh......and have a great time!:santa:

Thank you so much thats a great relief.
Just packing now. Flay at 12.00pm tomorrow.
See ya soon!!!

Hi - you will find with even the hoover ones you can still do it without the hoover - just seal the bag almost fully leaving a 1 inch gap at the end and then get the kids to pile on top. Then when its squished enough seal the last inch. I have a feather filled parka for winter disney trips and use the vaccum seal ones for that without a vac.
