I know this is a family board, but I cant find any information on this anywhere. (My last resort is to call the airline directly, but I would be more embarrased than i am now) I was just wondering if anyone knows (with airpot secutiy checks being so thorough) id we would have any problems bringing such items without any problems. The last thing I would want to be for a screener to start pulling things out of my bag for the world to see. lol Or would it be beterr to check it in the luggage being checked in. Thanks, and if this message gets pulled I understand.

umm what kind of "adult" items are you talking about? Yes I know its a vacation but ummmm maybe they're better left at home

that being said Id pack them in my check-in luggage

I would put any "adult" items in your checked bags if you don't think you could stand there while the screener looked at them. I have heard stories of some "toys" being pulled out of the bags and laid on the table next to the luggage.

I think they would frown on whips and chains in your luggage.

LOL, reminds me of my silly poem, which I cannot reprint here. :)

There was a friend of mine named Harriet who challenged me to come up with a limerick rhyming her name -- I took up the challenge. It didn't take long to come to the realization that "lariat" was a perfect match -- and one can then imagine the theme that followed. Let's just say it had nothing to do with western movies.

Be careful or you might come back from WDW as "momtimes3"

bring all the toys u want just check them

couple o years ago, coming home from jamaica, girl in front of me had a loud discussion with screener as her carryon passed thru xray"mam what is that?" proud as could be she told him

nothing is worse than " Price check aisle 5":hyper:

Yeah, I think your best bet is to put them in checked luggage. Of course stuff like contraception should probly be in carry-on in case your checked bags don't make it in time. You wouldn't want an unplanned souvenir showing up months later.

Good luck!

I had to carry a breast pump with me one time when I traveled for work. After it went through the x-ray, security asked to see my "camera." I had to explain what it was and unzip all the compartments but they were very nice and polite about it. I was petrified that they might demand to see it work (like for laptops).

Peggy--That made me LOL!!!!

I love this post and this would be my work around solution. I would check-in on-line prior to leaving home. When you arrive at the airport check your bags curbside with the porters.

If security has any questions regarding your items they will most likely bring you into a private room to have you watch as they go through your bags.

What I don't get is why people are so embarrassed about "adult" items. Enjoy and have a good time. That is what keeps the spice in a marriage. You got to do something different every now and again. :teeth:

I have an aquaintence from another board that travels frequently on short trips with "toys" Because they are short trips, she doesn't check luggage. Somehow, her name is on a list and she always gets pulled aside, her bags emptied and her "toys" laid out. She is apparently a quite nice looking young woman as well (maybe the combination of her looks and her packing habits is what got her on the list).

She is't traveling with kids however, and is rather "who cares" about strangers seeing her collection. I wouldn't want my bag searched and the "toys" coming to the attention of my children, however. Put them in your checked luggage.
