Fly Tampa for Orlando trip

We flew in and out of TPA from MKE last fall. It was wonderful! It saved us over $800 compared to flying into MCO and the Tampa airport is SO much easier and nicer than MCO!

We drove to Sheraton Vistana also and it was a piece of cake. Freeway the entire way and no traffic at all.

Really, I can't stress how much easier and less-stressful the Tampa airport is.

In fact, we're looking at flying into TPA on our next Disney trip.

You can always keep an eye and switch. I booked Tampa too for August b/c NO reward seats existed into MCO. None. Via southwest. Called last week, wide open. Able to get 3 reward seats each way to MCO. So I switched. Just keep an eye out and switch as time gets closer.

We're flying into TPA in August - I've done it once before. We're even driving an hour from home to fly out of ROC. 75 miles is nada!

It was easy-peasy - even with driving into TPA at 4:30 pm for the flight home. When I hear traffic, I'm thinking of the LI Expressway or the Schuykill in Philly. I could've been lucky but ever saw anything like that in Tampa. Plus, checking in and security was SUPER easy. Way less hassle than the bottleneck at MCO.
