I have a question for anyone that has scene or used this new Fly Pen... Do you have to buy the charger? It's 25.00.... I see it takes one triple A battery.... can you just keep replacing the battery or do you really need the charger?

TIA!

My guess is that the Fly battery charger is an option for people who don't want to keep buying batteries to put in it. The charger says it comes with one rechargeable batery and has space to charge one additional battery.
That's how the Leapster works; you can put regular batteries in it, buy rechargeable batteries from one of the battery companies or buy the optional recharger. (Leapster and Fly are both made by LeapFrog).

Thanks Sue, I appreciate that info... it makes sense. Seems to me it shouldn't go through batteries that quickly.. but I could be wrong?

I posted this before, but it's not here now???
Woow. This is weird. When I go to the question from the board, my original answer and the response after it are not showing.
But, when I did a search, it was showing. When I copied and went back to post on the question (thinking maybe it was a duplicate, it wasn't showing. But when it reloaded to add this new reply, it showed up again.

Ok I got one a few days back. belive me it drinks batteries as the first month every1 in the family wanted to use it. Best would be instead of getting the cahrger for 25$. Get one of those battery chargers for a lesser price. Keep recharging the batteries and you can use them in all the things u have that uses batteries.
