Fly Globespan fined!

Heard this on the radio so thought I'd post it here. They were fined for flying accross the atlantic with a faulty plane - BBC article. I know it wasn't an Orlando flight but OMG

All I can say is that I'm flying with them in 2 weeks time, that's me a nervous wreck until we land

That's awful! A couple of my bf's friends were going to fly to NY from Liverpool with them but the flight was cancelled last minute. They put everyone up in a hotel with an open bar though so it wasn't all doom and gloom! I think this was shortly before the route got pulled. We did price up flights at one point in case there was an unmissable deal but it didn't seem THAT cheap compared to other airlines for the dates we checked.
