flower power concerts

has anyone gone to the flower power concerts at epcot? i was just wondering if the bands do a few short concerts a day, and how long they usually play for?

I saw one of these concerts in May 2003 and, if I remember correctly, they had 3 shows a night at 5:45, 7:00, and 8:00. The 8:00 Dave Mason show I went to ended a few minutes before Illuminations began at nine, so I assume they all last about an hour.

We went to several last year. I think three sessions each night of concerts is correct. The end about 15 minutes till Illuminations.
Each concert lasts 30 - 45 minutes. (Usually 30 minutes, I think.)

Unless policy changes, AP holders could get up front seating by going to guest services prior to the shows. As long as VIP seating is available (sometimes it isn't) by showing their AP, one wristband will be distributed per AP holder (for one session only).

I often saw guests who left after a show and tried to re-enter with the previous session's wristband. They always fuss, but the wristbands have a time written on them with a black marker. The CMs are pretty strict about guests not entering without a correct wristband.

We've gone to them for several years-guess they bring back memories of our "concert" years-back when we were teenagers. We love them! If I remember, each concert that I've been to lasted about 30 minutes. I'll tell you, though, for those of us who "remember", it seems strange to listen to Steppenwolf do "Born to be Wild" as you sit in Epcot surrounded by kids, sipping a Diet Coke!

It looks like this year there will not be wrist bands. It is not mentioned in the Mickey Monitor. Last February, it was mentioned about the wristbands in the MM.
