Hi I am doing pinks and I have ideas for the bouquet but would any of you mind posting your centerpieces? Or any help- my planning session is soon and I have spent all day looking through bridal mags trying to find something I like- My problem is really dealing with colors- I love soft pink or ivory roses the green hydrangas but there have also been some bouquets that have hotpink to very soft pink- and I can not decide

:thumbsup2 hi! my advice : trust the Disney florists!!
I was in the same boat, I was scrambling to find a picture of flowers that I loved before my planning session - Rose, the flourist came in with pictures that blew mine away!
I chose one of the bouquets that she had done already, it was breath taking! :cloud9:
Good Luck!!

I used pinks, but I didn't do floral centerpieces. My bouquet was hot pinks and soft pinks-pale pink roses and stargazer lillies (with the hot pink centers). Stargazers were an important flower for us, so I was trying to figure out a way to incorporate them, and I just let the florist do the rest. I was SO happy with all of it.

I am making my own centerpieces. I bought garden bowls, floating candles, mirrored tiles, crystals for the botton of the bowls, 3 smaller votive holders for around the table & my florist (Emily at Charming Events) is placing rose petals over the table & setting them up. I was quoted about 86.00 a centerpiece and felt that was too expensive, these cost about $20 & I shipped them to Emily already.

KT27 - we had thought about doing our own but since our reception is at the Living Seas we were told we have to use Disney Florist. We are using an outside vendor for our ceremony flowers because I LOVE what she came up with and she was a lot cheaper than prices I've heard from Disney Florist. :sunny:

I'm actually the most nervous about the prices for the reception flowers. Originally when we had chosen our outside vendor, Whimsical Wey, she quoted us $50 per centerpiece. That would have been perfect!!! :) But then we found out we HAVE to use Disney... I've heard they average about $100/table and our guest list has grown from about 60 to 80, so now we are going to have 2 more tables to decorate... argh... :sad2: I know it'll all be good and work out the way it's supposed to... and I defintely have time, but I don't want to settle for anything either... anyway, just needed to vent that... sorry. ;)

HA!!! :rotfl2: I was told 150 a table, i just got my floral budget - yeaaaa... 500 a table :rotfl2: I am mildly flipping out! Whats a girl to do????? really... what???

Holy cow!!! (actually there was another expletive there, but I didn't want to put it on the board). :faint: :earseek: Just another reason I don't want to use Disney Floral... Whilykit, is that for the biggest and best floral? have you had your planning session yet? We are going in August - hopefully the second week. I graduate Aug. 8th. I am hoping to be able to get something small, but full with some tealights for no more than $100/table... argh....

Yeah, $500 is a lot for 1 table! Im having my planning session next week so i'll let you all know how much mine will be.

Yea, i had my planning session 3 weeks ago - to do the centerpiece I want - it is $1000!

We're using Disney Florists for our ceremony and reception. I'm not big on flowers and I went in telling Rose (our florist) that. She was really cool. Our floral estimate didn't seem too high to me, but I'm also from the DC/Baltimore area, so our prices are a bit steep. We're not using floral centerpieces, but having candelabras. We're in the Living Seas, so I didn't think flowers were necessary. But, really, just trust your florist to really know what you want. They will come in with a notebook of examples and things like that. They are truly prepared people! But, brace yourself for potential rental fees. That's where they'll get you!

ok well - im not meaning to freak anyone else out, im freaked out enough for all of us - lol!
I brought a picture to my session - it was a topiary tree with fall colors and twisty twigs sticking out the top - it is very woodys looking, like enchanted forest( which i was quoted around 200) Then i got my budget ,and to match the picture (which we obviously cannot do!) is $1000 ( just a TREE) but she priced a mid range one at 500. She said she can go as low as 300 - but what am i going to get for 300?? Its scaring me a bit. I asked for details about what a 300 one would include and what a 500 will include. Ill let you know when I know!
Hope this helps! ( let me know what you all choose and what prices you are quotes!)

Yeah from what i hear if you want anything thats a little out of the ordinary Disney tend to have really high prices!

What are the regulations regarding outside vendors and flowers?? Which locations may use an outside vendor and which must use Disney?

I think that any location (ceremony or recpetion) inside a park there is a requirment that Disney floral is to be used- Resorts allow outside vendors
