Flower & Garden Dooney Availability?

Hello!

I understand merchandise will not be available until March 2nd (opening of the festival).
How long do you think the festival Dooney & Bourke purses will be available after release?

I will be visiting on March 13th and would love to get a wristlet

What merchandise shop(s) would the Doonies be found?

I bought the flower and garden dooney bag from last years event this last November at the outlets. Of course you can never say for certain how popular a design will be, but just 11 days after the start of the festival... you should be fine.

Here is my experience from F&W. It was about two weeks after the festival started. I went to the Festival Center about 10:00 am. I wanted the zip zip and they were out. They told me to check Mouse Gears. I ran over there and they didn't have it either. The festival CMs told me American and the International Gateway might have them, as well. These places did not. Now it is about 12:30 and I want a second opinion. I go to Mouse Gears with my DH and what do you know there is the zip zip on display. I was thrilled. It was the model I really wanted. The shop Disney Parks app is also very handy in showing where the purse is available. These bags are only available for in store pick up, but it does let you know if Mouse Gears has it. The CM's were very nice in showing you a few bags in case you are picky with design layout. I am. Not all the characters will show up on the wallet. It was hard to get the entire pattern on my satchel. I'm looking to purchase the wallet when we are there this spring. I'm looking at the wallet, because I don't really need another zip zip or letter carrier.

My wife just purchased a D&B Mickey Minnie. It'll add a couple of years for me to retire to pay it off, but hey, you can never have enough Dooney & Bourke Purses, right??

They'll be available for awhile. I purchased my last one from World Traveler right as you reach World Showcase. They also will be at the festival center.

I was there in May last year and there were plenty left but you just never really know. I haven't really been thrilled with the F&G ones in the past year but with Figment on it, I'm in. I'm thinking since he is so popular, they might sell out early, I'll be there next week so fingers crossed.

In case anyone in interested in this year's availability, the Dooney and Bourke flower festival bags are NOT being sold in the festival center, but instead, are only being sold in MouseGear. When I went this past Sunday, the 20th, the only remaining Dooney and Bourke bags left were the Wristlet ($108) and the Satchel ($247 or $248 ...somewhere around that price) and I found the pattern placement of Figment on the wristlets available to be very poor (on some bags, the only part of figment was a foot, as he had been cut off). The CM's were unsure if any additional mailbag/carrier bags would be restocked.

Yes, my understanding is that the Satchel's are now sold out too. Bummer because this bag was great. But, I guess that was to be expected with Figment on it.

Does anybody know if there are still any of the crossbody bags available or are they sold out?

It's still about 3 weeks till we will be there for a convention and I was sure hoping to purchase one.

When I was there in early March I found the wristlet, satchel and crossbody all over the place in Epcot. I ended up buy the wristlet just because I wanted something with Figment on it, I rummaged through them all and found one with a full figment on both sides. For me, the satchels were way too big and heavy and the crossbodies were bigger than the usual D&B Disney crossbody (I own 4 others, I know I'm addicted) they were full size almost and just way too big for me as well. I've carried my wristlet a number of times, I put the strap all the way across and can put it on my shoulder (I'm a small woman). It barely holds my phone and my glasses and kind of pokes out with those. The little pocket (non zippered) in the back will hold a couple of cards and some cash.

Sure hoping they will still be selling them. I've got 2 of the larger size crossbody bags & I love them. I've got a little letter bag but it's just too small for me.

eBay keeps saying they are sold out & are listing them to sell for 350. to 499. I even bid on one and stopped at 250. & the selling price topped me by 95. Extra plus shipping! I don't like it that well!

I'm right there with you! I got the news they were sold out around end of March and the Shop Parks app only showed the wristlet and was listed as "sold out". But about a week ago I noticed the crossbody and satchel were showing on the app again, but again "Sold Out".

It's ridiculous that these sold out less than a month into the festival with two more months to go. I wish they would take a lesson from the special merchandise at the Halloween & Xmas parties by rationing the amount they put on the floor so that people going towards the end of the festival have the opportunity to purchase. These are now going for $350 plus on Ebay.

I've seen them on EBay.. people do this to the RunDisney merchandise too. But it's fair game when it's all open to the public, I guess. I'm just hoping for a lovely restock before we get there, since there's still another 1.5 months left of the festival! Fingers crossed and positive thinking - though I'm sure I will enjoy my first F&G festival either way. But hey, a restock would be a very nice bonus!

Who has lots of them? I was at Epcot last week and was told twice that they are sold out and were absolutely not coming back. I asked if I could get a rain check or something since I actually attended the festival and wanted to buy one and they told me, again, that all of the stock sold out a week before my arrival and there absolutely no way they were getting more (they told me this at MouseGear).
