what are crowds like at F& G, any bad time to go( other than easter weekend) or good time to go? since we were shooting for F& W and missed that, i figure F& G will make a good alternative if it's not really busy( we go in Jan usually so used to it pretty dead)
any idea about how long the waits would be with fastpass to something like RNR? ( usually 15 mins tops in Jan if it's even open but not really expecting that) Thanks

I usually go in May and the crowds are minimal. Nice weather; early May has less humidity. If you're planning on April, the 3rd and 4th week of April is spring vacation for grades K-12 in New England. In addition, 3rd Monday in April is a state holiday for Massachusetts (Patriot's Day). Even at that, since these vacations are not coinciding with Easter, crowds may not be a factor at all.

We're going the last week in May but have no idea how the crowds will be. They can't be worse than they were last July though LOL and we braved that just fine :)

I made quite a few weekend day trips to the F&G show this year. I didn't find any day terribly busy. I was there mostly earlier in the day with the exception of two Friday evenings for dinner. Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) was a bit busier thant the Friday evening before -both nights were EMH, and we really didn't go past FW and Mexico....

Later in May this year it was HOT - May 19th (Characters in Bloom weekend) was just plain HOT and HUMID!

We love the Flower and Garden Festival. We've been every week in May, including ON Memorial Day in Epcot (and Mother's Day there too), and haven't found an appreciable difference in crowd level at different times of the month. Weather/heat-yes, but not crowds. Next year we're going the last week of April, it's 2 weeks after Easter, so hopefully the big crowds will be gone.

thanks all. husband doesn't really want to wait that long but we'll see ;)
