Starting Monday or Tuesday I will be able to make ressies at Flounder for my 1 yr old DS. Since this is my first cruise I am not sure what to expect. So, I'm not sure when I should put him in Flounders. We'll probably do Palo. So, obviously I will put him in for that. Should I make the ressie for Palo first and then Flounders or vice versa? Currently we have the late dinner. I am hoping that we'll be able to change that once on board (on waiting list). Providing we can change it, he'll be fine for dinner and probably the show. My thought was to drop him off to hopefully sleep after the show. What time would that be? 9? Does this sound like a good plan? Any suggestions? Thanks.

hi there! (I live very close to you in Mass!!)

It is hard to know exactly when you will need Flounders, especially if you are changing seating times, booking Palo, etc....but try not to worry about it. Usually the nursery is very flexible. I would try to make the Palo res first (those go a lot quicker) and then book your maximum hours in Flounders. Pick some of the evening times, they are the most popular. Then when you get on the ship, you can try to change your seating time if you still want, and then go to Flounders to adjust as necessary.

Unless there is an unusually large numbers of little ones on your cruise, you should not have a problem getting the times that you need.

HTH!!

We scheduled Flounders for 1/2 hour after dinner started. We have 4 kids, 8,6,2 and1. We had the waiter bring the babies meals as soon as we sat down and they ate and then we took them to Flounders and then enjoyed the rest of our meal without a kid in our laps. Even our older kid had a hard time sitting through dinner and were bored but the babies were better off playing for a couple of hours and then we'd pick them up and go to the show. They LOVED the shows!! My 1 yo thought Beast was a big "dog-dog" :dog: and was trying to climb on stage to pet it!! You'll have a great time. Amy :sunny:
