Flounder's Open for Excursions on Western?

The Magical Cruise Guide on Deb's site lists several excursions for which Flounder's stays open so we can leave our little one on the ship, but it seems that all of the them are associated with the Eastern. Does anyone know if it is open for any of the Western excursions? We'd like to take one or two of them "sans baby" for some quality time with our 4-year old! Has anyone left their baby in Flounder's when they leave the ship? Obviously the beeper won't work for that situation! Thanks for the info/opinions!

Yes, Flounders is open for excursions in the Western cruise. I've never left my daughter onboard and would also like to know anyone that has left their child onboard at either Flounders or the Kid's club. Do you tell them what excursion you are on? What happens if there is an emergency?

I can't tell which excursions Flounders is open for, but I can tell you is that Flounders doesn't cover all excursions, only a select few. Any all day excursions, are usually excluded, since Flounders isn't open all day. Maybe if you check the Navigators for the Western, they have all hours for Flounders listed and you could see which excursion would be covered.
