We are staying at AKL and CSR for an upcoming trip. Does anybody know the policy regarding using your own flotation devices in the pools ? I have read that at least the CSR pools gives out life jackets but my kids are use to having 'bubbles' (a flotation device that straps to your back). We are thinking about bringing those along if they are allowed....

thanks !

Big O:

Those kind of floatation devices are allowed at Disney pools. They may not be allowed down the slides, though. However, my 3 year old DD was able to go down the slide at AKL with a free Disney lifevest. They are available near the pool.

My daughter has used the flotation device just like the one you are talking about, at CBR, and CSR.

SHe went down the slide several times at CBR, without any questions or problems. She used the slide at CSR, only once, but only because she was 2 at the time, and scared.

I don;t think there will be a probem. Have a great trip.

DD had no problem w/ hers at WL pools. Lots of kids had them on. In fact, we brought a blow up beach ball to pay with. Again, no problem!
