This is a question for previous brides. Who did you use for your floral?I just need flowers for the bridal party and I personally do not want to spend 300 for a bouquet through disney.

There has to be a florist who charges less than that!

If you contact Rosie Carabbia through DFTW she can give you tons of less expensive options.
I don't live too far from WDW so I drove down one day and priced florists in the surrounding area. What I found was the prices were basically the same but outside florists charge a fortune to deliver to anywhere on property.

I must also say that Rosie has been awesome to work with and I have found there are tons of fun Disney things they can do with your floral!

Ok that's good to know.I just want pink roses (a posey bouquet) with the ribbon around the stems. Hopefully that won't cost too much.

Oh yeah and I will need rose peddles scattered around the picture frames that I am going to use for centerpieces. I'm using our engagement photos to put in the frames( I have to find double sided frames.)

Call Whimsical Wey!!! Chris is fabulous!!! We only paid $400 for my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 corsages for moms/grandma, and 8 boutenniers and my daughter's rose wand. You can't go wrong with that. If all you need is your own bouquet, she will make you a gorgeous one for not much money at all and she can have it delivered and it didn't cost much at all. You can check out their website at :

I don't have a close-up yet... we haven't received the CD from Randy yet... you can go to Randy's website and find a pic of my bouquet. He took some beautiful ones. Just look under Diane & Andrew.

Good luck!! :thumbsup2

That is like exactly what I need.Wow I can't believe how reasonable that is.I will check them out.

I see that you had your ceremony at SeaBreeze Point. We are having 50 guests at the most(including bridal party) and Heidi the Disney wedding consultant recomended the site to me and I saw pictures online and I love it. I've been reading on the boards though that it can only accomadate 18 people. Is that true? Why wouldn't she have told me that?

No, no no... it can hold up to 60 people comfortably. We orginally had 75 people and they said they would be able to fit them, it would just be a little tight. You will have no problem with 50. It was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect spot. We were so glad we had chosen that spot. Good luck!!! Tell Chris at Whimsical Wey that Andrew and Diane say hi!!! :goodvibes

Ok good.I love the site from the pictures I have been looking at.It's perfect. When we go down to Disney this May I have an appointment to check out the location and the reception site.We are going to have the reception at St James ballroom. I like the pictures I saw of the ballroom too.

I actually just emailed them and I told them that you referred them to me:) The website is so cute.

I saw your video on STVS video too.We are using Stan for videography and Randy Chapman for photography.

We went with Disney and was absolutely thrilled with the result of everything. The down side is that it is a bit pricey. Of course they are more than willing to help you cut down and find different options! (They helped us find ways of having what we wanted for 2K less!!)
Good Luck!!!

Your bouquet is BEAUTIFUL.... $$$$ is very reasonable.. I added the website to my favorites on AOL;) Thank you:thumbsup2

I worked with Disney as well. Since we were doing two park events and reusing flowers I really needed to work with them due to DFTW guidelines. I did however look at options outside of Disney and I found out that based on the different types of flowers that I wanted I was going to be charged alot more! I decided to keep with Disney and work with them to get some of the costs down. The floral people at Disney will gladly help you get your costs down or provide other solutions. The flowers we used were 4 varieties of roses to add depth, hydrangeas and stephanotis. Sorry I can't spell flower names. Just go back to Disney and ask them what you can do. The cost also depends on the type of flower you are using and the time of year. If you are using all orchids, your cost is much higher than having orchids sprinkled in your bouquet. I hope that this helps!

I am having the cereminy at Seabreeze Point and I remember Heidi telling me that I would have to use Disney Floral but I thought that was just for the decorations,I did'nt think about my flowers.I really just need bridal party flowers and I want all roses. I'm not doing flower arrangements or anything like that. It's pretty enough at the site.

The whole point of our wedding is to not worry about all the little details. It stresses me out so much and I just don't think its worth it.
