Floridays Resort

I've fallen in love with this resort after seeing it online. Has anyone ever stayed there who would like to comment?

Anyone know how I could get a bargain rate at this resort?

It is very, very nice. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pool(s) and bar/restaurant are wonderful. The hot tubs are big and they even have a smaller pool that is very quiet. There is a business center or you can get online in your room. Full kitchen and washer and dryer in each unit!

It is right on International drive so it is convenient to SeaWorld and Disney. Publix is right down the street and the outlet malls are right around the corner.

I hear they are almost done with their onsite water park - complete with huge slides and all waterpark fun.

I highly recommend Floridays.

bumping up this thread in hopes of finding some more reviews of Floridays. Bunzie, looks like you are going in October? Have a great time!! We are booked for December - me, and my 2 sons, and my in-laws will now be joining us as well. Thank goodness I got the 3 bedroom!!

Last March we booked a discover and stay package with Sheraton Vistana Vllages and they put us at Floridays (right across the road) for 4 nights. Sheraton Vistana Villages is amazing!

Hmmm....did I love it - no. Was it nice...yes. We had a 2 bedroom also. It certainly has nice stuff but there was major construction going on right next door and the resort next door had poolside activities and music - it sounded like a party. Floridays is sort of in the middle of nowhere - about 15 minutes to the parks but an easy drive - we could see the fireworks waaaaaaaay off in the distance from our balcony. There was no activities planned - no poolsoide games - no games or crafts.....

Personally, for the same money I would rent someone's timeshare at Bonnet Creek for the same money. You are closer to the parks and they have activities for kids during the day.
